Recipe
15 potatoes
125 gm ghee or vegetable oil
2 medium onions( finely chopped)
salt, lal mirch powder(finely chopped )to taste
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp amchur powder
2 tsp dhania powder
1 inch piece ginger
a bunch of hara dhania leaves (finely chopped)
2 tblsp breadcrumps arrowroot or cornflour
6 raw bananas ( boiled and smashed )
boil potatoes / bananas till soft, cool and peel. Mash well so as to make an even mass.Fry onions till they become a dark brown.Mix the onions in with the potatoes, bananas, masalas and hara dhania. Dhania may be substituted with finally cut puthina leafs dry or fresh)
Make one inch balls of mashed potatoes/ bananas and flatten them with your palms. Dust with arrow root or bread crumps and fry 2 or 3 at a time.
